Social Impact Assessment of four areas identified for township status under the Secondary Towns Project

The firm conducted a Social Impact Assessment of four areas identified for township status under the Secondary Towns Project for the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) and the Caribbean Engineering and Management Consultants (CEMCO).

Our tasks involved:

  1. Assessing demographic changes that may result from the development of secondary towns,
  2. Analyzing potential economic changes that may result from the erection of secondary towns,
  3. Assessing environmental change, and
  4. Discussing institutional changes that will be necessary to accommodation township status.
